"What are you doing?" I ask Jane one morning as I see her writing as fast as she can.
"Writing," she replied.
"What?" I ask again.
"A story," she tells me. I am surprised. I hadn't thought she liked story writing.
It reminds me of when I was a girl. I used to want to write stories so badly. I remember my notebook I owned in which I wrote a lot of fairy tales. None of them are any good, but I had a good time writing them.
"What is your story about?" I ask.
"A runaway," Jane answers. Oh well, everyone has their own ideas. Mine was princesses, her is runaways!

P.S sorry about not writing. I have been busy!

ONE GIRL WANTED
Does anyone have a girl who would like to be a blogging friend to Rose? She wants someone to write comments to and receive comments from.
If anyone does have one, please leave the address of her blog in a comment. Rose doesn't mind how old or if it is a girl or boy, she just wants someone.
Sorry to be a bother.

Christmas Time
At the moment the house is full of noise and excitement. Christmas is almost here.
Music blares out of the CD player all day long. Rose is helping Jane with Christmas crafts, they are making a huge mess.
My husband is humming his way around the house and is singing Christmas carols in the car. Everyone is ready and impatient.
Me? I'm buying food, getting clothes ready and making sure that there are beds for everyone in the family who is coming to visit.
My children have each written their own Christmas blog post, Rose's is HERE and Jane's is HERE. Please read them.
Merry Christmas everyone and may the next year be wonderful!

P.S I know this is childish but I just have to boast. I HAVE FIVE POSTS!!!

I was Wrong
Went I made this blog it was meant to be about my problems in mothering, but since I talked to Sue from Stories of an Unschooling Family. I have changed all that. I want to make a better relationship with my children. I want to stop spanking and become and loved Mum! I hope I can make it and don't lose my temper to many times.
This blog was called My Children Problems before, but I have changed it to My Journey to Truth. I will write about my trip to becoming a better mother!
Thank you Sue!

The Pest!
Rose pestered and pestered me about getting a blog. She tried every method she knew of. She said every other girl her age had one, she told me and would do anything for one and wouldn't write anything bad and in the end she said she would get one herself even without my consent. I agreed.
Was I too weak? Should I have told her no? Should I have beaten her and made her go to be room? I am such a soft mother.

HELP!!!
I am Mary, mother of two girls name Rose and Jane. They can be trying. I have tried everything on them and that is what this blog is about. I need help on how to make them behave.
I spank them and ground them, I yell and scream, but to no avail. I have even made them not talk to each other for two days. Nothing works.
Rose won't pick her things up and Jane is always off in her own world, paying no attention to anyone. They make me so cross. Even in MASS they don't pay attention!!! What should I do? I need help now!
